PicoNV functions as an HD video encoder that can take in video from a variety of sources, including HD cameras, board level HD cameras (including multi megapixel and global shutter HD), thermal cameras such as FLIR Boson, DVI video (720p/1080p), performs H.264 HD video compression, and outputs streaming HD video in RTP and potentially other formats.
PicoNV is more than just a video encoder, it is a video payload integration solution. It can allow integration of multiple camera platforms, and provide control of onboard payloads and cameras. It allows for custom user applications to run on the hardware.
The natural successor to the Picocamera and Picoraptor platforms, PicoNV can also integrate well with our Airborne Innovations Picoradio OEM family of radio modules to form a powerful, compact, and cost effective long range video and datalink system. Picoradio can potentially provide power and communications for PicoNV (as well as provide a long range bidirectional vehicle datalink).
PicoNV can mate with our Picoradio board to form a miniature long range HD video link + command and control link (and with our optional SBUS module for manual control).

Includes 2x interface boards, microcoax cable (suitable for any combination of MIPI 2L + 2x USB cameras).
This is a very thin and flexible microcoax interface capable of supporting a MIPI camera and/or up to two USB interface cameras (such as FLIR Boson), or the FalconDuo camera. This can support a separated camera cluster and the PicoNV encoder, for example the cameras can be inside a gimbal and the PicoNV encoder can be inside the vehicle fuselage.
